EMSyes.org - About the Yes on EMS Committee

The Yes on EMS Committee's goal is to educate the citizens who reside within the East County Paramedic Service area of the facts regarding the periodic EMS Levy renewal elections, and to encourage the necessary periodic renewals of this critical, essential service.

The Committee is an entirely volunteer organization comprised of firefighters and first responders from the departments whose lifesaving efforts are supported by the EMS Levy, and also many other residents of Camas, Washougal, Fern Prairie, Sunnyside, Mt Livingston, Mt Norway, Orchard Hills, and Bear Prairie who want to ensure continuation of their local, community-based Paramedic Ambulance service.

Funding to support this effort has been provided by private donations from the Camas/Washougal Professional Firefighters Association, the East County Volunteer Firefighters Association, and also by the generous personal donations of other committee members and area residents who support the effort.
